IACCW & CCIE - WORLD WEEK OF ITALIAN CUISINE 2019

11 Nov 2019 @ 11:00am PST
15 Nov 2019 @ 12:00am PST

ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

World Week of Italian Cuisine aims to promote quality food and Italian cuisine abroad, distinctive signs of the "Italian Brand" in the wake of the great themes that , starting from EXPO 2015 Milan, distinguish the Italian food industry: quality, sustainability, culture, food security, the right to food, education, identity, territory, biodiversity.

Added to this is the work of valorization, also for tourism purposes, of the territories, the itineraries of Italian culinary art, as well as the Mediterranean diet, one of the elements that makes Italy the healthiest country in the world.

The presentation and internationalization activities of the Italian training offer in the sector are also fundamental, in order to attract talents from abroad and retain them for the use of quality Italian products.

The project integrates with the actions envisaged by the Plan for the extraordinary promotion of Made in Italy, promoted by the Government in order to strengthen the distribution and commercial presence of the real Italian food products, as well as with the objectives of the 2017 Tourism Strategic Plan -2022, aimed at highlighting the less known territories abroad.
